Wash Instructions for Hand worked Pieces

For hand worked pieces, it is important to follow specific care instructions to preserve the delicate work and prevent any damage to the fabric or threads:

• Always hand wash your hand-smocked or hand-embroidered pieces.
• Machine washing can stress the delicate stitching. Do not wring.
• Please avoid ironing directly over the handwork; if needed, use a steamer on a low setting instead.

Wash Instructions for Cotton Velvets:

Only spot clean when needed.

Some velvet items may experience light pile shedding if pinched or rubbed with pressure. This is normal and occurs because of the plush pile surface of natural-fibre velvet. It does not affect the quality or durability of the garment. We use premium 100% cotton fibres for our velvets, and this is not a quality issue.
